Thankful Thoughts Card Decks
As a coach, I help clients own their values and use them as a guide for how they show up, how they make decisions, and how they navigate work relationships. A big part of my work with clients is paying attention to what is and isn’t working for them. For many of my clients that includes some form of gratitude reflection.
My own experience with gratitude journaling is mixed. For years, I was a reluctant journaler. I knew it was/is a powerful practice, but I could never hold down a habit of writing anything consistently. Then I found the 5 Minute Gratitude Journal. ™ I loved the simplicity and quickly found myself adopting a habit of journaling before my workday. Eventually, I got bored with the repetitiveness of the prompts and found myself buying lots of gratitude journals to mix things up a bit. Then I was struck with inspiration to create my own - full of the kinds of prompts I was seeking out in my eternal quest for inspiring gratitude prompts. I planned to use my creation for both myself and as a client gift. My 11 year old daughter heard my plans and sweetly offered to create the artwork. Once she got involved - I felt like I had to make this a bigger endeavor. I saw it as an opportunity to show my daughter the power of having a vision, the give and take of collaborating with others, prioritizing time to get a big project completed, researching how to do something you have never done before, and the importance of hustling for the things you want to achieve. Completing the gratitude cards was incredibly rewarding and I am so happy to have done it with my daughter. I hope you consider making a purchase. We would love for you to use them!
